Germany national football team (deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft or just Die Mannschaft) is the men’s football team that represents Germany in international competitions since 1908. It is governed by the German Football Association (Deutscher Fußball-Bund), founded in 1900.Official name and code “Germany FR (FRG)” was shortened to “Germany (GER)” following the reunification in 1990. Prior to reunification two separate teams representing the Saarland (1950-56) and the East German team representing the German Democratic Republic (1952-1990) were playing respectively.

As Germany takes on Mexico today, the two sides have played 11 times against each other with Germany winning 6 times while Mexico winning 4 and 1 draw. A good contest in offing for all fans.
